Ginnie Sebastian Storage, President General, NSDAR,
is a member of the Washington-Lewis Chapter and a former Surgeon Lawrence Brooke Society, C.A.R. member.

The chapter was chartered in 1922 to save Kenmore, the 1770's home of Betty Washington Lewis (the sister of George Washington) and her husband, Fielding Lewis. Our chapter name honors both the Washington and Lewis families, and their deep connection to Historic Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Our chapter has over 180 members between the ages of 18 and 95. We are committed to our mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We are enthusiastic about our volunteer activities and are proud to make a difference in our community, state, and country.
